Career experience

* Head of the Energy Action Advice Team - employed via Hull’s Inner City Partnership Programme, responsible for the training and support of local energy advisors employed on Community Programme schemes across the city. 

* Green Action Project Co-ordinator - responsible for running a drop-in centre for local residents which provided training, social activities, work experience and voluntary work opportunities for local unemployed of all ages.

* Optima Energy Consultant and Trainer - responsible for the development and delivery of the community, advice and education portfolio of the company.

* Smethwick Energy Action Co-ordinator and Trainer - responsible for running a drop in advice service for residents with fuel debt problems and training and supporting unemployed people to offer advice to their neighbours.

* Worked with community groups in regeneration areas around Bolton to motivate their neighbours to get involved in local initiatives such as Friends of the Park and Food Co-operatives.
